Carcassonne Expansion 4: The Tower

The Tower is the fourth significant expansion for the Carcassonne board game. It adds tower segments and new actions. On their turns, players can choose to place a tower segment on a tile with a tower space, add to an existing tower, or put a Meeple on top of a tower to 'finish' it. Placing a tower segment lets you capture other players' Meeples if they're orthogonally in view. The taller the tower, the farther the capture range. Losing a Meeple means forfeiting potential scores and paying 3 victory points to free it.

How to use: When it's your turn, you have three options. You can place a tower segment on a tile that has a space for a tower. Or you can add a tower segment to a tower that's already standing. You can also place a Meeple on top of a tower to finish it. Capturing other players' Meeples: If you place a tower segment, you can capture other players' Meeples that are in an orthogonal direction from the tower. The higher the tower, the more tiles away you can capture Meeples from. Losing a Meeple: If your Meeple gets captured, you lose the points you could have scored with it. To free your Meeple, you need to pay 3 victory points. Maintenance: Keep the game pieces in a dry and clean place. Make sure to store them in the provided box or a container to avoid losing any parts.
