Carcassonne is an engaging tile - placement game. Players draw and place tiles featuring southern French landscapes, like cities, roads, cloisters, or grasslands. Tiles must be placed next to existing ones, connecting cities to cities and roads to roads. After placing a tile, players can put a meeple on an area as a knight in the city, a robber on the road, a monk in a cloister, or a farmer on the grass. When an area is completed, the meeple scores points for its owner. During the game, players face decisions such as whether to use their last meeple or how to place a tile to gain an advantage. Turns are quick despite the many options.

How to use: Start by drawing a tile and placing it adjacent to already - played tiles, making sure cities connect to cities and roads to roads. Then, you can decide to place one of your meeples on an area of the tile you just placed. Points are scored when an area is complete. Attention: Think carefully before placing your meeples, as you may not want to waste your last one. Also, consider how your tile placement will affect your opponents. Maintenance advice: Keep the tiles and meeples in a dry place to prevent damage. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
