Ticket to Ride: First Journey - Europe is a thrilling board game tailored for younger players. It simplifies the classic Ticket to Ride gameplay, making it more accessible. Players collect train cards, claim routes on a detailed map of Europe, and aim to connect cities shown on their tickets. Each player starts with four colored train cards and two tickets. On a turn, you can draw two train cards or discard cards to claim a route. Match the color and number of spaces on the route. Connect the cities on your tickets to complete them and draw new ones. If you connect a westernmost city like Dublin to an easternmost city like Moscow, you'll win a special cross - continent ticket. The first to complete six tickets wins, or if all trains are placed, the one with the most completed tickets takes the victory. This version offers the same great gameplay as the original, but in the European setting.
How to use: First, each player gets four colored train cards and two tickets. On your turn, you have two options. You can draw two train cards from the deck or discard train cards to claim a route between two cities. Make sure the cards you discard match the color and number of spaces on the route. When you connect the cities on a ticket, show it, put it in front of you, and draw a new ticket. If you can't connect the cities on your tickets because the paths are blocked, you can use your turn to discard them and get two new ones. If you manage to connect a westernmost city to an easternmost city, you'll win a special cross - continent ticket. The game ends when a player completes six tickets or all twenty trains are placed on the board. The winner is the one with the most completed tickets.
