Ubongo Junior brings the engaging tile - placing gameplay of the original hit puzzle game Ubongo to kids aged five and over. Each player begins with seven puzzle boards and nine uniquely - shaped and colored tiles, each featuring a cute cartoon animal. The race is on to place these animal tiles and fill a specific area on the boards as fast as you can. The quickest player yells “Ubongo!” and grabs colorful plastic gems from the bag. Others can keep playing as long as the hourglass runs to place tiles and earn gems. At game's end, the player with the most valuable gem collection wins. How to play Ubongo Junior: Start the game by giving each player seven puzzle boards and nine tiles of different shapes and colors. Each tile has a cartoon animal on it. The goal is to place your animal tiles to fill a specific area on your board as fast as you can. When you're done, shout “Ubongo!” and take colorful plastic gems from the bag.
