Holsteiner Foal

Holsteiners are incredibly talented jumpers. Just days after birth, these foals happily and vigorously leap over small obstacles. But serious jumping training starts at two to three years old. By five to six years, their muscles are well - developed, allowing them to carry a rider while jumping.

If you have a Holsteiner foal, let it play and jump naturally in the early days. Don't start serious jumping training until it's two to three years old. When training, start with small jumps and gradually increase the height as it grows. Make sure to give it a balanced diet to support muscle development. After riding or training, check its hooves and body for any signs of injury. Keep its living area clean and dry to avoid health problems. Also, give it enough rest time between training sessions to prevent over - fatigue.
