Indian Rhinoceros

The Indian rhinoceros resides in Northeast India. Its distinct thick skin folds look like it's wearing heavy - duty armor, making it easily recognizable. Unlike its African rhino relatives, it has a very calm and peaceful nature. This rhino spends most of its time munching on grass, twigs, leaves, branches, and fruits.

If you're interested in observing the Indian rhinoceros, first, find a wildlife reserve in Northeast India where they live. Keep a safe distance as they, though generally calm, are large wild animals. When watching, stay quiet so as not to startle them. There's no need for any special equipment to view them; just your eyes and maybe a pair of binoculars. Since they are herbivores, you won't see them hunting, but you can observe them grazing on their natural diet. Do not attempt to feed them, as it can disrupt their natural eating habits and may be dangerous for you. As for their habitat, these areas are protected, so respect the rules and boundaries of the reserve to help preserve their living environment.
