Lion Cub

New - born lion cubs sport a sand - colored fur coat dotted with dark, circular spots. This unique fur pattern provides excellent camouflage in the savannah. For the first four to six weeks, they stay in a den. By three months old, they're strong enough to accompany their mother everywhere.
