Catan Expansion - Traders & Barbarians

Traders & Barbarians is the third major expansion for The Settlers of Catan. It's actually a collection of small expansions and variants, independent of Seafarers and Cities & Knights expansions but combinable with them. All variants and three scenarios were available from different sources in Europe, the US, or official websites. The Great Rivers and the Fishermen of Catan are expanded with extra tiles and player pieces. This set includes 5 scenarios: The Fishermen of Catan, The Rivers of Catan, The Great Caravan, Barbarian Invasion, and Traders & Barbarians. There are also 4 minor variants: 2 - Player Rules, Catan Event Cards, The Harbormaster Card, and Friendly Robber Rules. It offers new gameplay and challenges for Catan fans.

How to use: First, familiarize yourself with the base game of The Settlers of Catan. Then, you can add the expansion according to the scenario you choose. For different scenarios, set up the game board with the corresponding tiles and pieces. Follow the specific rules of each scenario to play. For example, in the Barbarian Invasion scenario, use the new knight pieces to stop the barbarians. In the Traders & Barbarians scenario, use the new hexes to rebuild Catan. When using the 2 - Player Rules, make good use of the 'Commercial Chips' to force trade with your opponent. Pay attention to shuffling the Catan Event Cards well before use to ensure fairness. Maintenance advice: Store the game in a dry and cool place to prevent the pieces from getting damaged. After each use, put all the pieces back in the box neatly. Also, be careful not to bend or break the cards and tiles.
